Support Desk Changes
Since the beginning of 2005 we have been analysing the way support is provided to you. The housing market boom had a great effect on the removals industry and some of that boom benefited us through new installations of MoveMan and system upgrades. This combined with the FSA regulation changes encouraged us to do things better and to give you a greater commitment to support and communication.
After a period of planning and testing we have developed and implemented a new system of logging support calls. When a call is placed to the support desk it will be immediately logged onto our system and a unique call ID number generated for your specific problem. The idea of this implementation is that the call can always be retrieved and acted upon by the dates and priorities assigned to it. Once the call has been logged we will email or text you with the call reference so that you can see that the call has been logged and who the call has been assigned to. If you ever need to call regarding your problem you just need to quote the call ID number and we can instantly find out the status and progress of your call can give you that feedback.
This does require a slight protocol change going forward. We would like to ask if you could all remember to call the support desk on 01799 529 707 or email support@eosuk.com with your problems. This allows the calls to be centrally logged and passed onto the relevant person. The process will be a lot smoother and efficient going forward if calls are placed direct to our support desk.
This will bring service benefits and also improve streamline all lines of communication.

MoveMan for TabletPC version 1.14 released
Development work for the MoveMan for TabletPC has still been taking place since the last issue of our newsletter. The latest version of our TabletPC software has now been tested and released. The main notable new feature in the new version is the ability to use the property category to automatically generate a standard list of rooms for the survey.
