Welcome to our third newsletter release and the final one of 2005.  The newsletter will be back in 2006, the first being published in January, keeping you all up to date with the developments throughout October, November and December.

10th Anniversary for EOS

During this quarter EOS celebrated its tenth year anniversary of trading.  We would like to extend to you all a very big thanks for your continued business and support over these years and trust that we can continue to work together for many years to come.  These ten years have seen both the MoveMan product grow considerably and also the amount of customers using the product increase.

Sage Line 50 version 12 

In our last newsletter we let you know that Sage was releasing version 12 of the popular Line 50 software.  The latest Sage link file is now available for exporting invoices to Sage version 12.  Should you required this link please contact EOS on the usual number (01799 529 707) to discuss the next steps. Stop press... Sage have acknowledged that there is a small bug with their link software which can cause a problem if you use the 'Memo' section on customer records in Sage.

Self-storage Module update

EOS has for release this month an updated version of the self-storage module. Having undergone intense development work the latest version now includes:

 - Client image capture from webcam

 - Separate quotation using customisable rates for different sized units

 - Production of a licence agreement issuing unit number, size and map to specific unit.

 - Booking in and reservation of a unit direct from quotation

 - Facility map to view the allocation of units on screen

Support Desk 

We hope that you are all benefiting from the support desk changes discussed in the previous newsletter.  There has been good feedback for this system and we are always looking to improve our service where we can.  Over the coming month we will be implementing a new telephone system to help us deal better with the volume of calls that we are receiving.  The idea behind this is that we cut down the amount of time that the lines are busy and you are presented with a voicemail recording for you to leave a message.  So in light of this we will be implementing new telephone and fax numbers along with this system to direct you through to a support person easier.  The numbers will stay the same at the moment but you will be notified when the new numbers are in service.

Update to MoveMan Pro 4.24 released 

During the course of the last quarter we have implemented some updates to MoveMan Pro version 4.24.  The version number of MoveMan has stayed the same but the latest update is available for you.  The latest changes include:

 - Update to the invoice layout so that more information can be displayed and also so that the sales/nominal code allocated to each description line is sown on the main invoice view.

 - Storage Fire register now displays previous and new balance per company as well as for storage as a whole.

 - New function added to allow for any document to be linked to a clients record in MoveMan regardless of whether it was created using MoveMan word link or not.

 - New function added to allow for any file in the Shared Documents folder for a client to be convert to PDF format and emailed to the main contact.

 - Update to the storage record so that if a user invoices the client out of store the process cannot be done again without accepting the warning

MoveMan for TabletPC version 1.17  released

Alongside the development of MoveMan Pro and the Self-Store module MoveMan for TabletPC has also been updated.  The have been few major changes but the changes that have been made include:

 - Enhancement to the materials allocation whereby each service type can have its own material supplied per item

 - Survey mode and Service have been added to the 'new item' form

 - Survey Materials report has been added that allows you to print off just a report of the materials needed for the survey

 - Enhancement to the Survey Mode which allows for the user to define if the mode volume is to be included in the survey volume total

Address Software Renewals

Please be aware that we are not actively pursuing the renewal dates for the postcode software.  Should you require an update to the software please contact EOS on 01799 529 707 or alternatively email accounts@eosuk.com.  The postcode software is still available and we will process any renewal requested as quickly as possible to minimise any delay.
