We hope you all had a good Christmas break and that things are already looking prosperous for the year 2007.  We are looking to take MoveMan even further this year with developments already set in place for the tablet and also embracing the new Windows Vista software due to go on full release this month.  Please have a look at this newsletter as I am sure you will find it useful.

New EOS website launched 

This month has seen the launch of our new website.  We took a good look at what we want to provide you with and have come up with a site that provides more up-to-date information on our products and services.  We have included a products page for all our various modules as well as a 'News' section that will keep you up-to-date on all our major product updates.

We have also incorporated a page for you to submit support issues or updates that you would like to see be made to our products.

MoveMan Pro

Part of the latest version release on MoveMan Pro is the ability to link emails to clients that are held within your Outlook inbox.  When you receive an email it can be saved into the Shared Documents folder more efficiently now meaning that all correspondence with a Client can be shared with every user of  MoveMan.  (Please note that this functionality is limited to users of Microsoft Outlook XP and above). 

MoveMan Self-Store Module

As part of our update to the EOS website we have added a movie for the self-store module.  This gives you a unique preview of the visual based management advantage that the self-storage module can provide you with. Click here to view the self-storage page

Windows Vista and Office 2007 

MoveMan has been developed onto Windows Vista but we would like to let you know of one important area that is still to be resolved.  Emailing via MoveMan using Windows Vista is not yet compatible so please bear this in mind when purchasing new systems.

MoveMan for TabletPC

The Christmas period saw the beta release of the new MoveMan for TabletPC version be installed at our companies registered as testers.  This version will be tested until the end of January and will be released in February.  The new version boasts the ability to synchronise quotations with the main MoveMan system, giving your surveyor complete flexibility, as well as the ability to set default services for the style of packing required. 

Also updated is the ability to run sales presentations on the TabletPC.  This saves you carrying separate paperwork and also allows you to show off warehousing, packing and loading and many more.  You can run single pictures, PowerPoint presentations, movie files, the possibilities are endless.  For those of you who are interested we have designed our own special presentations that show various boxes being packed and can include your own company logos and branding onto them (note that these are chargeable).

If you would like to have an upgrade please let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements for you.
